Six Warriors Earn WHAC All-Conference Honors

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Six Warriors earned WHAC Men's Volleyball All-Conference Honors, the WHAC announced on Thursday. Zack Karns, Dylan Poore, and Nolan Bosley earned First Team Honors. Logan Gieseke and Kristian Kold earned Second Team Honors, and Logan Gamero was named as a Champion of Character.
 
Zack Karns was named to the All-WHAC First Team, his first All-Conference selection. The sophomore from Mount Vernon, Ohio was a force at the net, leading the WHAC with 1.17 blocks per set. He was first in the WHAC with 117 total blocks.
 
Dylan Poore was named to the All-WHAC First Team, his first First Team selection and second All-Conference selection overall. The senior from Indianapolis, Ind. was a reliable presence offensively for the Warriors, finishing third in the WHAC in kills and fourth in kills/set.
 
Nolan Bosley also earned All-WHAC First Team Honors, the first of his career. The senior from Indianapolis, Ind. had a breakout campaign this season, breaking the Indiana Tech single season assist record. Bosley finished first in the WHAC in assists and second in the WHAC in assists/set.
 
Logan Gieseke was named to the All-WHAC Second Team, the second straight year he's earned this honor. The senior from Joliet, Ill. was an all-around performer for the Warriors this year. Gieseke was sixth in total kills, ninth in total blocks, 10th in hitting percentage, 15th in blocks/set, and 16th in kills/set.
 
Kristian Kold was also named to the All-WHAC Second Team for the second consecutive season. The redshirt sophomore from Slagelse, Denmark was the best server in the conference this season, breaking the Indiana Tech single season ace record. Kold was first in the WHAC in aces and fourth in aces/set. Kold was also top 20 in kills/set and hitting percentage.
 
Senior Logan Gamero earned the nod as a WHAC Champion of Character. Gamero was an integral part of the team's success in his fifth year as a Warrior.
 
11 Warriors were named to the WHAC All-Academic Team: Imraan Aung, Nolan Bosley, Owen Elliott, Logan Gieseke, Kristian Kold, Lucky Lacanienta, Sammy Lapinski, Dylan Poore, Alex Rosenow, Ben Rosenow, and Jensen Yarosh.
