FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Indiana Tech women's ice hockey head coach Mike O'Grady has been named the Australian U18 Women's National Team Head Coach, Ice Hockey Australia has announced.
 
"I am honored to be appointed the Australian U18 Women's National Team head coach," O'Grady said. "I would like to thank Athletic Director Biggs and Assistant Athletic Director Hawkins, our assistant coaches John Salway and Brooke Almond and our players for supporting me in taking on this role in addition to my duties here at Indiana Tech. Their support is a great reminder of the amazing culture that has been instilled here at Indiana Tech, and I am excited to be a part of it as we continue to grow our women's hockey program here!"
 
O'Grady, who is in his first season as head coach at Indiana Tech, will be at the helm for the forthcoming U18 Women's World Championships in Turkiye from Jan. 25-31, 2027. This role will be in addition to his duties as head coach at Indiana Tech.
